EFM

The flagship product at EFM today is the PK Series of steel boilers. The PK design builds on the heritage of the original coal stoker at EFM by providing many years of reliable heating service with what we believe is the most serviceable heat exchanger and combustion chamber in the industry.
EFM PK Ultra
The EFM PK Ultra is a high efficiency boiler with an efficiency rating of 86.2%. The PK Ultra operations like a conventional boiler but utilizes an elegantly simple technology to achieve high efficiency at a competitive cost.
It is available only for direct vent or chimneys with a stainless steel liner. The three pass primary heat exchanger uses conventional carbon steel and is isolated from the secondary heat exchanger. The secondary heat exchanger uses an Ultra high heating surface area to wring enough energy from the flue gases to reach efficiencies of 86.2%. The arrangement of the secondary heat exchange also allows for easy removal for cleaning. Dual drains route condensate for treatment.
